Overtone Singing Instructional Video, Stuart Hinds

A more challenging work for chorus with overtone singing by Stuart Hinds. The text for this thoughtfully structured work is artfully based on a quotation from 20th century Italian philosopher Benedetto Croce: “There is nothing true in the world except beauty.”

As in Hinds’s other choral works, choice of overtones is at times improvised and at other times carefully prescribed, allowing for a practical and accommodating way of introducing singers to this stunning genre of choral music.
