REFLECTION, A

synthesized demo recording

A REFLECTION was composed by Steven Paxton to honor the life and work of composer, scholar, and teacher Steven M. Miller. It is eclectic in style, including some brief aleatoric passages. The final sections of the work quote the hymn tune “Captain Kidd” — In all this world below, God is seen all around, Search hills and valleys through, there He’s found.
